To test the Solar Array:

1. Remove from EyasSAT

2. Plug 8 pin cable to solar panel and break out box

3. To measure thermistors using multimeter (provided in your accessory kit) use pins 7 & 8 on the break out box

4. To measure voltage with current configuration of jumpers use terminals 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6

5. To measure current place a resistor in series with the multimeter across the terminals

6. EyasSATs are shipped with the jumpers are in a string configuration. You can reconfigure the jumpers to increase/decrease voltage using the silk screened grid as a guide for where to place jumpers for the configuration you are seeking

7. The 3rd column on the grid is for use with a solar panel test kit—used only in house for testing before shipping

8. Once GUI is operational (upon receipt of EyasSAT user must request a KEY)  mW produced by the entire panel are showing via the Electrical Power System:

NOTE that the power produced by battery and solar array does NOT equal the sum of the parts. Some power is lost in converting to 3.3 V and 5.0 V. Technically the wattage from the 3.3, 5.0 and main bus would equal the total power lost in the conversion; however, the software is not perfectly calibrated to reflect that.
